It's finally Yamakasa season!

The decorated Yamakasa floats are now open to the public from July 1st!
It will be on display at 14 locations in Fukuoka City until the 15th.
This is a rare season where you can fully experience the summer in Hakata!

There are two types of Yamakasa: "kazariyama" (decorative floats) that are used only for display, and "kakiyama" (carried floats) that are carried through the city.
In the past, there was no distinction between the two, and floats over 10 meters tall would run through the streets of Hakata, but this resulted in frequent accidents in which they would cut power lines.
As a result, the "Kakiyama" became about 3 meters high.
Both the "dynamic floats" and the "quiet floats" are so impressive that you will be captivated.
